Think of this page as the quiet room behind the vault door. Yoyoplanet is built for curiosity about sports records — not for vacuuming up your life story. Below is how we treat the little that the app actually needs to function, and what third parties touch along the way.
The short version
We do not harvest personal dossiers. Users do not exchange private data with one another inside the app. The developer does not run a shadow archive of your identity. At most, a unique technical identifier may exist so analytics and push notifications can tell one install from another — not so we can guess your birthday or home address.
What the app is doing
You type a sport name. AI helps locate a Guinness-related world record and shapes an HTML achievement card. Your collection, profile display name, preferred card language, and optional avatar live on your device for that experience. Camera access appears only when you choose or take an avatar photo — never as a background habit.
OpenAI — text in, text out
Record storytelling and related generation rely on OpenAI, a third-party service. When that pipeline runs, the app sends the text of the message you entered (for example, the sport you typed or the prompt needed to build the card). It does not attach your name, email, phone number, or other personal profile fields to that request. OpenAI processes that text under its own terms and privacy practices; we use it as a generation engine, not as a place to store your identity.
Third-party services we lean on
These partners help the product stay measurable, attributable, and reachable. Each is a third-party service with its own policies:
- Singular — attribution and marketing measurement. May use a unique install or device-related identifier to understand how people arrive at the app. It is not a channel for reading the contents of your record cards as personal data.
- Firebase Analytics — aggregated product analytics (screens, flows, crashes-adjacent signals depending on configuration). Identifiers here exist to count and improve, not to build a public-facing profile of you.
- OneSignal — push notification delivery. A unique push token / player id lets us reach the right device when a notification is warranted. You can usually revoke notification permission in system settings.
- OpenAI — as described above, for generating record-related text from the message content you submit for that purpose.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not run a social graph where users trade private details.
- We do not ask OpenAI for anything beyond the textual input needed to generate the response.
- We do not pretend analytics IDs are the same thing as a passport.
Your collection & local choices
Saved cards and profile preferences are part of your in-app experience. Clearing the collection from Profile is your broom — use it when you want the vault empty again.
Children
Yoyoplanet is not aimed at children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your region). If you believe a child has provided information they should not have, contact us and we will help straighten it out.
Changes
If this policy shifts, we will refresh the date at the top of this page. Continued use after an update means you have seen the new wording in the place where policies live — here.
